By the way, for those among us who like to keep all the stats on our car, I've noticed the Nissan server only stores the last 6 months of data. You can download a CSV file for each month from the "Electric Rate Simulation" page on Nissan Connect. The server shows the stats only for the last 3 months, but if you keep going back in time the CSV file is still downloadable even though the webpage shows dashes for all the stats. But further back than 6 months and there's nothing. So I make a point of logging in every few months and downloading the CSV files so that I have a complete record. Maybe I'm the only person in the world who does that

I can sign into Carwings but still can't check my charge. According to that email we've got around another month to wait.

Yep I'm in the same boat - can login but eventually times out with error message. I never got the email either. Checked my junk mail at the time but nope.

I hope the Carwings systems gets fixed by the end of Oct like Nissan mentioned. The remotely turning on AC via mobile app is a real handy feature with summer around the corner.

Yep pre cool or pre warm the car is the best feature. I agree remote door opening on the driver door not useful and could be problematic but I'd love remote opening on the rear hatch door - be great when both hands full with something heavy.

Hey just in time for our 1st hot day here the Nissan Connect app has started working for me (iPhone) so I can turn on the air con for nice pre-cooled car. Hooray!

It is still not working for me. Am I the only one still having problems with carwings? Not at all. Mine isn't working - I'm using the Android app. ...and just for completeness, it's not working through the online portal at owners.nissan.com.au/portal/ either.

Hi Thirdronnie, Have used it on both Android and the browser version (don't use IE, it barfs.). The very first couple of attempts last weekend failed, but a few hours later all was working well, and has been good since then. It seems like it needed some activity to wake it up, maybe to initialise the service. NB: My service was working OK before it was taken down a couple of months ago.
From Sydney, so presumably the AUS server.
The login is your "account" , presumably the Nissan Connect one, which is usually your email address + password.

I get into the system, but it doesn't retrieve the battery status. I then get the following email message; There has been an error retrieving the charge status of your vehicle. Please try again.
So no joy here. It was working with the new module just before the server shut down.

Have you tried turning off and back on again? Sorry couldn't resist. I also logged on to the portal site a few times when it was down and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Not sure this will help you but if you haven't tried already might be worth a go. owners.nissan.com.au/portal/I'm using Nissan EV on the latest IOS version Iphone 6.

I have deleted and reinstalled the app. Correct login. I have powered off the car, 12v battery off for 15 minutes. The telemetry is online, I have reactivated in security in carwings in the vehicle successfully. It can load stored routes off the server into the car. It can update charge stations. It can get data feeds that I have stored, like weather warnings, abc RSS feeds etc, so is connected to the network. Not sure what else to do.

I think I spoke to soon - playing up for me today last update was Mon, 30 Oct 2017 at 13:10 on the portal and the app won't update. It turn the climate control on for me but it didn't give me the notification on app that it had done so.

Mine still has the same error as before where it says 'Connection to the centre has failed' when I try and activate my security settings and naturally my app is not working. The username and password I used is right off my Nissan Leaf Portal so it should be correct.
I just rang Nissan customer service and they have no record of the email being sent. (I did not expect the operator to have such up to date information).

'Connection to the centre has failed' Confusion lies in the fact that there are two logins. There's the portal version, which in my case starts with 'x' followed by eight digits and the password is one of my own choosing. That works on the portal and will get me on to the Australian server in the Android app. Then there's the Carwings login, which for me starts with 'N' (uppercase) followed by seven digits. The password is ten characters long, all upper case except for a couple of numeric digits towards the end. You see this one once you've logged into the portal using the portal combination and open the Carwings tab. This Carwings combo allows me to log in to the Japan server. It's also the combo you need to enter in the car when re-entering the "Security Settings" Just so crazy! As of this moment, it's still not working on either the portal or the app, whether logged into the Australian or the Japan server. The car is obviously communicating with some server or other, as all my Carwings data relating to each trip is available through the portal on Carwings.
