Ok. I find that the lack of this on the Aussie LEAF surprised me. The other countries in the world have them as standard on the car, and I see them as a great safety item. So, I'm looking to retro-fit an interpretation on our LEAF, but not wishing to use the half powered halogen, nor the cheap looking bolt-ons readily available.
I considered the ones I noted that replace the fog lights, as they may be useful, so I looked at bumper recessed options. There are LED lensed 'modules' out there, PIA manufacture one, but the multiple bolt on & hole doesn't appeal to my style, I'm considering a pattern that mounts on/in the narrow grille under the plate level. I have been soak testing a number of decent LED options for a few weeks now, as the actual specifications of them are somewhat sceptical, and required testing first. Anyone else toying with DRL's, and what has been discovered?. The wiring and power to them isn't an issue, as there is plenty of information out on the world-wide library, it's more of a "decent pseudo-factory" styling I'm looking to discover. Some factory fitted ones look like after-thoughts! remember, it's a stylish, not bolt-on appearance I'm looking for.
