For the Brisbane-ites, this plan for how to convert Australia to EVs over the next 10 years is being launched, and is free. detailsIt has been put together by Beyond Zero Emissions ( bze.org.au/) , who've already done some policy great work on how to shift Australia towards being more sustainable.

Hi,
I've just booked our free tickets. Counting on using the University of Qld charger as we're driving down from the Sunshine Coast. Hope that there isn't a queue. Lesmando, I'm thinking that you will probably be there, and I can see that there is an EV display. If anyone plans to be there from this group, I'd love to know so I can be on the look-out (not that I know what most of you look like, other than StuartM and Lesmando, who I have met).

Not sure on the EV display, not organised with the AEVA. My car is still at Moorooka Nissan, no ETA when I will get it back. The charger has been very good, no issues like the BMW one.

I'm sure we can work it all out amongst everyone waiting to charge if there is a queue. Biggest Queue I've seen at the UQ St Lucia charger was one Tesla Model S and two Leafs (Les and I) Thankfully the Tesla owner was a good sport and let me get a quick 7 minute charge in despite him being there before me.

See you there, then. We have a blue Leaf, KWH 365. We won't be going home to the Sunshine Coast unless we can charge

I went along to the event, and it was really interesting, and of course I love hearing about our electric car future, which can't come soon enough. I met several other EV drivers, including Blue Leaf owners Rob and Sally - we all had to agree that blue was the best colour, of course. Sally had driven her Model S up from Sydney - she drives a Leaf and a Model S, truly an EV lover. I put up some photos on my blog: linkAttachments:
