A bit 'limp'. The article brushes very lightly over the subject in my opinion. Mean while, back at adverse propaganda central, the media continues to tout over-bearing, tax gaining hydrocarbon burning, out-dated technology to the poorly informed public, in hope they will subscribe to a five year financial burden before they visit a petrol station. The part missed is if one buys a "Holden & Cart" on a loan, then what will happen to the debtor?. A Great Leap Forward could be No loans or finance on petrol fueled vehicles. Eventually the mindless "gotta haves" could be guided to better modes of transport, and indeed, they could save and buy in cash, or maybe think a little more about the value of the dollar in their pocket.
Alas, the powers that be miss the preverbial "Elephant in the room".
