I may have missed this as part of the sales process - but what benefit is signing onto carwings for me as a leaf owner ? Where do I access it from ?
I know I have userids supplied as part of the handover - but I used those on my iphone (which has stopped working since feb) and in the car.

On the Web, go to the Nissan LEAF Owners Portal ( owners.nissan.com.au/portal/ ) Click ' My vehicles ' Click ' My Nissan LEAF vehicle settings ' If you get a ' No battery info ' or similar tab, just click it and it will disappear. Click the ' Carwings ' tab ( upper ' bar ', second from the left ) Click on the Carwings logo Then just sign in.

Benefits ?
Just one is that you can plan your trip from wherever you are accessing the web, without having to get into the car to use the GPS function. ' Save ' that trip, and it will be available for you when you next get into your car and activate the GPS function.
You can extract a mine of information on your vehicle and driving habits over successive months.
You can see how other LEAFs are going in the region, and around the world.
Whilst you can change your access password, there is no facility to change your / your vehicle's nickname that appears publicly on Carwings. In Australia, this still remains as your vehicle stock number.
