I remember reading that if the LEAF is not going to be driven for a month or more that the batteries should be left mid-charge.
Just trying to update my charging rule book for all occasions.
Thoughts?

so it's a mix of 2 rules: 1. Don't leave it at >80% for a long period of time. 2. Don't leave it at <20% or low levels for a long period of time.
if left alone they'll drain slowly, charging to 80% would be fine. It'll slow degrade but stay well away from low levels.

That's what I've been going by too. Also throw in don't leave the EVSE connected as it will drain the 12V battery and disconnect the 12V battery if it's for a long period. I lost a few bars of charge while at the panel beaters and I suspect it was the 12V slowly draining the traction battery.

Thanks Guys. The 12V battery is new information for me. So you're suggesting disconnecting it?
Anyone know if it powers the memory backup for clock, radio stations, Bluetooth and so on?

Great article, thanks Feng! They mention a 12v tender but that sounds like a hassle, seems easier to disconnect and reset the clock/personal info on the other side.
Good info!
