Somehow the Chinese seem to get EVs. Can someone tell me what's going on here. Are their leaders just smarter than ours? Do they have better advisers? Is it because our leaders are just so focused on the next election at all times that nothing else has any priority?
I don't believe it's just driven by air quality. Surely if that was the case they would be pushing more for Solar/wind/nuclear anything to replace coal.

I hope this comment is due to lack of information they are pushing pretty hard they have effectively put a cap on coal usage. The 1 child policy in China, has produce generations of children that are seen as the most scared thing. the threat to these children is seen as a threat to the communist party. if you can keep the children safe then you can rule china. china doesn't have to deal with andrew bolts and alan jones they just have to worry about avoiding rioting on the streets.

Sure, the Chinese leaders are smart - just like all LEAF owners.
