Hi Guys. Last week I booked in my LEAF for a regular service (the $88 one). I requested an 'express service' but I was told "because of the battery we can't do that" !! They wanted the car for six hours. Anyway, when I picked up the car the battery was at the same charge level as when I left it. I was thinking of talking to Nissan HQ in Melbourne.
Any similar experiences or explanations?
Thanks.

They are meant to charge your LEAF when they service it. I'd complain to Dean if I were you, since they kept your LEAF long enough to put some charge in. When I had my last service, my first with Kloster Nissan in Newcastle, they wanted to keep it and charge it but when I explained that was very inconvenient and pointed out there was plenty of charge to get me home again they agreed that I could wait the hour and a half for the work to be done-even provided me with free coffee while I waited. Different service centres have different attitudes to customers. I've swapped a bad one at Mildren Artarmon for a good one at Kloster Nissan Newcastle
