Anyone know if Australia is still selling the pre-upgraded model or do we finally have the new one here?

Interesting observation on the mynissanleaf.com forum, the 2014 LEAF no longer has the 80% long life timer mode, you can only charge to 100% now: www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15526. There's speculation over whether it's improvement to the battery negating this need, that it's made little difference in the first place or if it's Nissan's way of giving a better impression of range estimates. The previous advertised driving range was calculated to be an average of 80% and 100% charge.

Price would come into play. If they were selling the 2012 for $32k and the 2014 for $50k, this would persuade many to get the old model.
