so who is interested in a Leafly holiday at kanagroo island south australia www.kangarooisland.sa.gov.au/e-vehicle they have 2 i assume leafs for hire and 6 chargepoints spread around the island. not to mention power it with a large solar array. edit:fixed link i've added the sites to recargo too.

It mentions Nissan Fleet, so they would have to be LEAFs. Doesn't say how you get your own LEAF there

So there is Guess you'd get your LEAF to the Ferry on the train to Adelaide. Sounds like an idea

Can you still put your car on the train? I had half an idea to put mine on the train to Albury but couldn't find a rail network that did that any more. On the up side some of the truck freight prices Sydney to Melbourne were under five hundred bucks.

KI transfer have given me the LEAF hire rate of $65 per day. and they won't receive the leafs until early January.

It would seem that LEAFs like islands.
Rottnest Island lies off the West Coast, and no private cars are permitted, in the interests of a quiet, hassle free environment Public transport is either by bus, pedal bike, Segway or foot.
However, I understand that the Rottnest Island Authority ( which runs the place ) has two LEAFs, reflecting the island's sustainability aims. In addition, one third of the electricity generated on the island comes from a large wind turbine.
