Agreed, Phoebe.
But we have a much smaller population. It would be interesting to see the number of LEAFs owned per million head of population for various countries, to get a balanced comparison.
The " stir up " is unlikely to come from a PM who denies anthropogenic climate change. A survey of MPs to find how many are even aware of the LEAF would be interesting.

I'm guessing even if we boosted our ownership numbers by 15 to approximate the AUS population compared to the US, we'd still only be around 3,500 owners all up since the launch.
In the US they sold 18,000 LEAFs between January and October alone.
I don't think there's any comparison on uptake.
