Side mirrors are a pain. A lot of out trams have cameras for mirrors so displays on the control panal. It's great feature something that you have to get used to though.

I worry about this on cars as you lose the 3D of a real mirror. You may not realise how much you use binocular vision in everyday life, but when my late Father lost one eye in a car accident he really noticed how much harder it was to judge distance.
Just my 2c.

I've run into 2 things using my rear vision camera so I don't use it anymore. I use all 3 mirrors

I recognise the aerodynamic / reduced drag benefits.
But it is another bit of technology that could fail, and cost more than a mirror to replace.
