ASK NISSAN? But do they answer?

this sub forum claims:

There are a few forum members representing Nissan Australia and the dealer network. This is the perfect place to ask them questions directly!

But on none of the threads in there I seem to see an answer from an official Nissan representative?

Or are you youself associated with Nissan in some way?

Hi Marty, when I first set the forum up I was the only private owner in the country.

We won a video contest with this entry:

We got a free charger, nice discount/perks and were the first private owners.

So back then I was in close touch with Nissan and early on they showed some interest in the forum.

But no, they never latched onto it or answered questions here.

I thought that was a shame as they had direct access to us outside of a public place like their Facebook page.

They could have taken advantage of our knowledge and showed their support.

Maybe one day!

Dean is the contact at Nissan for all LEAF enquires on the 1800 LEAF EV (1800 532 338)

Nissans 'dedicated' electric vehicel 'help' or query line for owners, possibly when the dealer is unable to help or needs prodding to offer help. )

Thanks Marty. I got the Origin level 2 charger and some other perks, extended warranty etc.

But I basically paid full price for the LEAF so the perks just softened it a bit.
I don't mind as I'm a happy early adopter and it comes with the territory.

I think Dean is the product manager for the LEAF. He's great and has always been very supportive.

well, I called him with my service cost and schedule questions and he said he is looking into it and will email me back.

That was three days ago.....:-(
