This is probably akin to a death wish, but I need to change my email address associated with my Carwings account. I will lose access to my existing email account next week. There is no way to do this online or in the car, as far as I can see.
That means ringing Nissan, who likely will have no idea what Carwings is. Has anyone had any success ringing Nissan regarding Carwings? What number to call, any magic words to say? apart from "pretty please", of course.
Thanks for any tips!

Tried mailing? Either nissan_leaf@nissan.com.au or csc@nissan.com.au. Don't know how much luck you'll have with them, it's been four years since I've last tried. Good luck!

Be prepared for the scripted response: "Oh, Carwings isn't supported for your model any more". That's what I got when I rang them (sorry, can't recall the number), though I was trying to get the app/portal web page working at that stage.
I think I got the phone number from an error message in the Nissan EV app. I got nowhere. So my email address is still that of the previous owner. Whenever I change my password now, the previous owner gets an email with the new password :-O At least it's still possible to use the app without the registered email address working, to start charging or climate control, or retrieve the battery status.

I first tried emailing nissan_leaf@nissan.com.au. Nothing happened - no reply. On the weekend I tried csc@nissan.com.au. I provided all my car details (old and new email addresses, Nissan Portal user ID, Carwings user ID) and an autoreply came straight away. On Monday got an email saying "I have updated your email address as requested." So it seems that worked, but did they really update my Carwings details?
I'm not sure how I can test it, short of using the reset my password option, which could be a one-way ticket to hell if they haven't updated it and the reset password goes to my old and now non-existent email address. I would then be locked out

Do you really need access to the email? Mine is still registered to the previous owner, so changing my password sent a confirmation email (with the new password) to them. Fortunately I had the original password and IDs (on a piece of paper attached to the user manual), so I just keep using those IDs.
I guess you like to receive email notifications? I've not used that feature, only retrieving charge status (and the rare remote charge start).
Maybe I should try changing my email address using your method; if it works for me, it would give you more confidence.

Unless there's a setting somewhere, email notifications stopped working a few years ago so the email address doesn't really matter any more.

Unless there's a setting somewhere, email notifications stopped working a few years ago so the email address doesn't really matter any more. Yes, I have emails and notifications set in the Owners Portal and the App, but they haven't worked for years. When I look in my settings in the App, under “User”, my email address is blank. So I don’t know if it’s really blank, or it just doesn’t display the email address Nissan has in their records, for whatever reason. As to why I care Carwings has my correct email address - hygiene and comfort should I ever lose/forget my password.

At the moment my Carwings is actually working fine and has been since I turned off one of the settings in the car as per someone's advice in another thread. When I check the battery charge status on the app, I get the email notification as well, as per my settings.
