I just received a message from Kate at Yarrabilba. She says it's not moving; sometimes kids press the emergency stop and it needs to be reset. She had her team check it out and it is now working again.
Edit: for non-locals, Yarrabilba is a housing development some 38 km south of Brisbane, and has had a Tritium 50 kW charger there for some years. It is located near a sales development office. The sales office is apparently moving to a new location. When the charger went offline recently, there was speculation that perhaps it would be moving, or that it would be left off or removed. Fortunately, we now now that this is not the case.

Had no luck there today unfortunately. The unit has power, but would not start charging. I turned the emergency Stop to release, in case it had been pressed. It looks like it had been, because the button popped back out. I waited a minute, but no change. I tried my RFID Cards, even though it's not a specific network, but no change.
Maybe it just needs a bit longer to reconnect. I'll try again another day...

[ Edit: and then all that networking software, like in a router. ] Though with trying RFID cards and what not, maybe you were there long enough. Thanks for trying, and thanks for the report.

You're probably right. I was thinking I should wait longer, but I was in a hurry and didn't really need to charge. The little red Lock light on the left side was flashing. And it did respond with a long beep when I tried one of the RFID Cards. But no response with a different one. If it works next time, I'll try to time how long it takes to reset, in case we come across one like that again.

I see the nearby (ish, about 20 km) Coles at Flagstone (about the same distance west from Beaudesert Road / State route 13 that Yarrabilba is east) has a two port J1772 charger [ edit: it's type 2, see later post ], similar to the one at Coles Rochedale. A little old fashioned (but it suits my old car :-)), but good to see that this seems to be the norm now for new Coles locations. www.plugshare.com/location/239870

Haven't been there yet, but I'll go past one day. It's not directly on the way to anything for us, but it's definitely a good option if we ever need it. I didn't know it had 2 J1772s, so that's good. Perfect for our Leaf as well, which of course has both that and CHAdeMO.

Duh. Plugshare initially said dual J1772, and I must have short circuited to the chargers at Ormeau. At Rochedale, they are in fact dual untethered type 2, and I'd say Flagstone is the same, so Tom we first gen Leafers need a type 2 to type 1 cable. Sorry for the confusion.

We have a Type 2 to Type 1 Cable, so that should work fine. Regarding Yarrabilba, I was going to go past again today, but Plugshare has a Spanner status icon with these recent comments: Called tech support. They spent 20mins trying to fix it and declared there was a problem with the unit. That's good news that it's getting looked at , so hopefully it'll get fixed soon.

Not relevant to us Leaf owners, but I'm assuming the CCS cable is still CCS1? (Just asking on the off chance that it's been upgraded to CCS2 with the recent tech issues)

Yarrabilba earlier this evening. The plug seems well worn. Looks like CCS1. Attachments:
