Shame that your battery is playing up again. Good luck once the dongle arrives.
You can also reset the usage history, so that the GOM only takes into account your driving (not the average from the previous owner). Toggle through the instrument cluster screens until it shows km/kWh. The I think you press and hold the button with the dot on it that's to the right of the instrument cluster.

For those of you who are presently importing a Japanese Nissan Leaf or have one and need an Australian charger, we are now selling a 5 meter charging cable with a 10A Australian plug that fits home power points and a J1772 plug that fits your Leaf. The price is A$395 including shipping and you can order one on email to leafplugin@gmail.com or telephone us on 0403 153 999

We've had our 40kW 2017 (Dec) ZE1. 20,307 km, SOH 90.78% colour of duck eggs (pastel lime green - would have posted a pic but got an error that forum storage is full). Now had it for almost two months, still over the moon with it! My wife has done one long trip to Toowoomba and back, using the supercharger at Charlton. We now done 1,570km, use Leafspy but have recently joined the Energex Smartcharge program. We bought our car thru Ben (J Spec), complied by Chris (Japan Imports), head unit and instrument conversions done by Evolution and a Type 1-Type 2 cable from them. All up cost on the road $36k. Some observations: - we use Android Auto except for short trips but always for directions using Google Maps, so not bothered by the GPS not behaving
- I love using ePedal, my wife detests it, and uses Eco/B always - consequently she usually gets >7km/kWh while I'm often <5km/kWh!
- Driven on Eco/B with Smartcruise at 100kph it seems to comfortably average 6.4km/kWh so just under 230km for a full charge
- All round cameras are great when parking, the hazard alert/emergency brakes (eg when a car pulls out of a park suddenly) is magic
- Dashcam included some interesting legacy shots in Japan - we formatted a 16GB SD card and that works fine (gives 2h of hi-res video)
- SOH of batteries varies seemingly with temperature, from 90.4 to 90.78. Supercharging brought battery temperatures up to 50deg and took a long time to cool (lucky coming down from Toowoomba is downhill)

Mike, I'm in Brisbane and considering getting a grey import Leaf. I was wondering if you have found someone who will service them if anything happens to go wrong?

Not sure what others can recommend, but there is an EV certified mechanic in Summer Park, that services Leafs. These guys have a Certification for AURSS00037 – Electric Vehicle Inspection and Servicing Skill Set, so they actually care about EVs. As we know, most Nissan dealerships know basically nothing about Leafs, apart from the ones that are specialist Leaf service centres. And there doesn't seem to be the sort of independent EV Specialist that exists in America (not that I've found anyway).
They are on the Southside (South West): Future Auto
They are licenced mechanics with 20+ years experience, so they do normal vehicles as well of course. But better than most other mechanics that don't really know what to do with EVs.

In the south east of Brisbane, you could do worse than Suzi Auto / Oz DIY (Same company, Oz DIY is the EV part). They're not Leaf Specialists, but more EV generalists.
