Phoebe stopped by our place in route to the dealer to top up on charge and say hello. Always nice to meet another forum dweller in person.
Had a great time, was good to see you Phoebe.
Hope your drive home is uneventful. Let me know what the range estimator reads when you arrive. My guess is 15KMs. ;D

I travelled 145.1 kms and had 18 left on the Range when I got home, so it hadn't even squalled at me that I was low on charge. I was relaxed all the way. Gee it's different driving the two different directions on that route, on successive days. 10 kms different in the range left on arrival in a total driven distance of 145.1 kms. Seems so much more down hill and recharging coming home. That may explain it all though the Southerly Wind blowing yesterday may have made it worse. Mind you it would have been a lot more tense today if you hadn't 'topped up' the charge on my way through. 6 more kms to travel with that much less charge would have been very tight - I think I still would have made it but it would not have been comfortable. That all points to the idea that I have lost a little bit from my batteries because when I brought the LEAF all the way home when new, 6 months ago, it was 151.8 kms travelled with 15 left on the Range on arrival. So, Thanks again for your help Jim - it really made a huge difference Oh, and it was lovely to meet you and Vicki, too ;D

Thanks Duncan. Necessity is the mother of invention I wasn't popular on the Freeway, lots of honks from truckies and others who thought 75 kph was way too slow, but I had too , I wanted to get home
