Yep it was straightforward, especially since detailed americlish instructions were recently posted on the US forums. took a couple of hours but I always take my time on car jobs. The most confronting bit was drilling a big hole in the front of the charging cover

Illuminated Nissan badge looks great. The 2013 LEAF comes with a light in the charge point. I don't see a retro-fit kit, although I use a work-around anyway. Our LEAF was delivered with LEAF badged floor mats - a small win I always felt that a vehicle of the quality of fit out ( and price ) of the LEAF should have had turn indicator repeaters in the side rear view mirrors. Whilst disappointing that they were left off the Australian version, it is good to see that they are available.

They tried to sell me floor mats, along with many other things, and I declined the lot

yeah I just can't stomach the oz dealer prices for options. I understand it is the cream for them but the prices are pretty offensive.
Brian I was also surprised about the repeaters not being in the lights....strange in a very modern car. But I wasn't brave enough to find what the option parts were worth....

I might investigate further.
I feel provision must have been made in the cars wiring loom. In which case, there may be a connector close to the mirror, thus avoiding complex wiring runs.
