... in the key fob I was getting the key 'low battery' warning on the dash when starting the car. For my wife, it was getting to the point of having to hold the key against the door handle to open it, and against the start button to start it. I guess they were the original batteries in the original fobs, so were sitting around for 2 years doing nothing until we came along. I replaced both batteries yesterday and everything's now sweet

Both my key batteries went flat at the same time and I only use one of them. My first battery last 12 months. My 2nd battery is still going after 18 months so I think we all got old batteries to start with

Same here. I had my car in September last year. After 6 months, the fob I used had low battery warning. The other fob was idle and get the warning as well.

Got my money back and went to woolworths and bought a 2 pack of energizer batteries and they are still going after 4 months. But our 2 remotes both lasted around 27 months

I just replaced the battery in one fob after 2 months. Freaked out a little the first time I had difficulty starting the car.
