And I am aware of services interstate and in NZ for conversion JDM Leafs from Japanese to English Is anyone aware of such a service in SA?
Yours truly in anticipation

Hi Bob, I had my ZE0 Leaf done at the local compliancing place in Brisbane, so I'm not sure who they used to do it. They're not technical enough to do have done the Jap-Eng conversion themselves. The Instrument cluster could be done there, but the Radio Head-unit had to be sent overseas. That still seems to be the cases in the ZE1. So even thought there doesn't seem to be anyone in SA, the head-unit will have to be sent away, so your location isn't important. But instead of not having a useable car for 4-6 weeks, what they did in my case was have the replacement head-unit already there on the day. They'll then give you a credit for your head-unit once they receive it, and that'll be converted and go into someone else's car. The only company in Australia that comes up with this service is this one. They were great to deal with when I ordered all my charging cables from them: www.evolutionaustralia.com.au/product-page/nissan-leaf-ze1-connect-japanese-to-english-conversionThis NZ company are the ones who seem to have put the time into engineering the conversion, thanks to all the JDM Leafs in NZ: evsenhanced.com/services/japanese-to-english-audio-navigation-unit/nissan-connect-audio-navigation-unit-x-and-g-model-2017-to-2018-ze1-leaf/evsenhanced.com/services/ze1-services/instrument-cluster-japanese-to-english-conversion-on-ze1-2018/They mention partners in Australia, so you could ask if that's the above mentioned Evolutionaustralia, or someone else. There is also this company, but they just seem to be a vehicle importer that probably outsource the conversion to a 3rd-party. And other forum members have mentioned that they don't have the best reputation: www.sunrisecars.com.au/nissan-leaf-english-language-conversion-service/

Thanks Tom, My reply is late as I had hoped for a glimmer of information from other on the forum regarding SA based Jap-Eng conversions. I appreciate the info you have supplied and at this point Evolution Australia is my best option. Kind regards and Merry Xmas Bob W (Still a total newbie)
