Hi everyone, I got a Chargepoint RFID Card when I signed up with them recently. But has anyone managed to get a Chargefox RFID Card? I contacted them, but got no reply.
It'd be good to have a Card instead of relying on an App. My phone isn't the newest, and Apps can be a pain if they don't work. It'll also be nice to lend family members the car, and they have everything they need in the car.

But has anyone managed to get a Chargefox RFID Card? Yes. If I recall correctly, I used the "contact us" facility on the Chargefox website, and provided all my details, especially street address (to post the card to). I had already hooked up my credit card to the app. It took 2-3 weeks to arrive, and no peep from them (though I was in email contact about other matters). Then it just turned up one day, all programmed and ready to go (as far as I know; I've only tested it so far on two EVSEs (Rochedale and Moorooka) that are free). Indeed. I started a charge at Rochedale using the app, and when I came to stop the charge, the app would not connect. The cable was still locked to the EVSE socket! But I just fished out the trusty swipe card and it stopped no problem. So it's definitely helpful to have. It's also useful for places like the EVSE at Moorooka, which still doesn't appear on the Chargefox app (but Chargefox are doing what they can).

Ok great, good to know. Thanks coulomb.
I'll give them a few more weeks and see how we go. I can't remember if I have them all my details (address etc), but I think I would've.
Oh wow, I hadn't even thought of not being able to unplug. Good info there.

RFID handy for Nissan dealerships in perth. Cos those locations are not listed in app ... yet Yeah. It seems that Chargefox's hands are tied when the client (Nissan) doesn't do the paperwork. Sounds like you're leaning on them for yours, as I am for one in Moorooka, Brisbane. I wonder if there are more Nissan EVSEs in Brisbane. [ Edit: I should check out Keema Hyundai (there is also Keema Nissan in the same building); perhaps that one requires a Chargefox swipe/RFID card as well. ] tomkauf , I meant to add that I think a lot of the delay is because they use ordinary (non-express) Australia Post. Since they've been "modernised", not only do we pay twice what we did before, now they keep our mail hostage for 2 weeks. Progress!

coulomb Ah ok, I'll wait for the ordinary slow AusPost delivery . Their prices have definitely increased while service has dropped....
