Hi all.
I have just purchased a used 2012 Aussie leaf. Just one question here, I have noticed in a number of photos and videos some cars have a screen on the trip computer on the lower instrument cluster, a display of the battery percentage with a battery logo. I have paged through all my trip computers screens showing kms per kWh, trip a/b mileage, etc to no avail.
Can anyone tell me if it's hidden somewhere away I'm not looking at it right or is it only a gen2 leaf feature?
I know I can get leafspy but the recommended lelink obd is a bit more than what I want to pay ($100+) for a gauge right now.

Hi Jin,
Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum. The battery meter is only available on the upgraded 2013 and newer model LEAFs.

I ended up getting a few cheapies that didn't work and eventually got another non lelink that was $60ish. If I got the lelink straight up I would've spent the same.
