Had to share, over on holidays again. I had half a tank, pressed the range button, and look at the Chargers. France by 2018 will have the second highest amount of chargepoints in the EU. Whilst there are a lot of Mennekes 22kw, there are also a lot of new combi 50kw units with CCS CHADEMO and Mennekes. Seriously No range anxiety. Maximum cost is €2.40 or $3.60 aud. although most are free.

Just rub it in! I hope there will be a day here where using a fast charger won't feel like a novelty!

I live in oz for most of each year Feng, I know how it feels. Also having a leaf with not many more km on it than the one here, in oz 10/12 batt capacity, here 12/12, 120km vs 170km. I'm sure it's the colder weather. In saying that is has been 39 deg here this week. The difference here is government subsidy of €6000-10000 for a new Ev. Road registration of €75 per two years, and government sponsored chargepoints everywhere. They are determined to reduce fossil fuel use, and committing to it. I think the 400km Zoe, leaf, tesla 3 will make a big difference in oz.

Really no value in sharing this to an OZ Leaf forum.
You're just reinforcing how frustrated Leaf owners are in Australia. No fast charging infrastructure, fast deteriorating batteries/range and no Leafs with better range coming into the country. I'm sure there are dozens of countries out there where it's better but we already know that and posting this here isn't helping anybody.

I think there is value, I sent a copy to my state energy minister, with an election coming up and them want to expouse their green credentials, this is helpful. As Les has demonstrated, you push long enough you get results with Nissan, I am doing the same. Only one enemy, that's apathy. I am not in any way rubbing anyone's face in it, I live and work in Qld, I just happen to have a holiday home in France, have to say it was cheaper to buy a whole furnished home in france than a new caravan in oz.

I think it's useful to know how the world is progressing,?and posts like this are good points of note, The apathy on the subject is clearly evident, even from evtricity. In as much as he is a LEAF owner, and staunchly defends the EV, it can be seen manifesting itself. By the way, absolutely no offence meant in any way here. The whole problem is the propaganda machine in Au, and it blatantly obvious guided blather it pumps out daily. This country is financed by the technology in use/still being pedalled from the last century. Once(come the day!) Au Feral Gov have no choice, but to see no one manufactures old tech junk, they may then have to pass on the problem to the public, in forms of revenue. If our Gov had their heads out of each other's wallet style sands, and saw the biggest!! change in the world on the horizon, and acted on the obvious elephant in the room, we, as a populous would not have to bear the brunt of their stupidity. What is obvious is the smoke & mirrors if one looks through it. The usual attention/distraction techniques will leave Au in the dark ages(further in) once more. Politicians are not elected for their intelligence I'm afraid, and let loose, cause catastrophic damage to a country. Accountability would be a good positive step forward. If they say it, then let's see it... or prosecute, just like members of the public. The feral Gov will not take its foot off the EV & environmental way, instead, it continues to wipe out what little the country has, with only one driving force. Sadly, they now cannot deal with an EV's minimal eco-burden, desperately looking for some angle to dis-credit, and eradicate its threat to the preverbial trough.
