It still did not work, so I got pissed and figured it out.
What you need to do is to log in from the car. It seems like your account gets inactivated if you do not use it for a while from the car. As for me the carwings site thought that even my username was invalid, so it must have disabled me.
So, I downloaded some info from the car and now my login came good and I can log in.

OK this may be related to the issues you mentioned but...
I got a bunch of different numbers from the dealer: one of them seemed to work to get into the portal. I changed my password and all looked good but when I clicked on my vehicles and my nissan leaf settings it threw a strange red database worded error message and then nothing.
But the other thing is I tried to enter the security settings in the Leaf itself and tried a bunch of different combinations and finally one of them worked and seemed to connect. But the phone app won't seem to accept any combination. What do you put for the username password combo in the iphone app?

The car seemed to work with the number I got (wouldn't accept a @ in the username). It refreshed stuff but still I can't get the app to work. I tried using the number and the email address (the email address works to login to the website).

Maybe it is a broader issue as nothing I tried works - I see the same screen as above i.e. no current vehicle data to display. I can login in the car but can't get the iphone or windows app to connect so therefore can't remote control the car functions. Can't do it via the web either.

Well of course still not working for me. Question (while we wait):
I was provided a screen capture from a Nissan system which had the user name and password details on it. There were two distinct items - one said Carwings and the other User portal login. The user one had a number starting with X and my email details. The other Carwings one started with N.
The X one didn't work when login into the car so I used the N and it seemed to activate the security stuff in the car. But the owners portal seems to want to use either the email address or the portal. When I try to login to the iphone app it won't accept the N number - says username password error. But it accepts the X number only it says it can't login to the owners portal (different error). m I using the right bits in the right spots? Therefore meaning it's this broader issue or am I using the wrong logins?
I just logged in using the iPhone app and got an update of my car status. So I gather the website should work now. If you want the direct page for carwings (and use the N id), you can go to zeroemission.nissan-carwings.com
Lesmando, do you mean accessing the website through your iPhone or do you mean using the LEAF iPhone app? I can log into the website (though almost nothing works) but I can't log onto the iPhone app, I get the same message as southervolt.
