Very Sore sternum. Bruise on right forearm. Minor soreness around right ribs
heading west on ocean reef rd. other. Guy in ute heading east turning right onto Wanneroo rd
Slowed for intersection but was speeding up to get to 80
Guy allegedly went through red arrow

Don't think so, but never know. Martin the other driver even admitted that he was in the wrong. American / Canadian accent. Had witnesses too.
Hopefully a write off and I can walk away with the $$$. But insurance company may want to buy replacement i3 instead.
If $$$, it will go toward the tango or ioniq.
JC advises to buy Kia, Hyundai or Mazda, in no order

Ouch, sorry to hear that bad news. Hope you are ok and injuries are not too severe.
Glad the car did it's job and protected it's occupant.
Even though sometimes we do get a bit attached to our cars, it's still a car at the end of the day and it serves a couple of very important purposes; transportation whilst protecting it's occupants.
If it does get written off, I'm sure some keen EV enthusiast will gladly get at it's components and try and re-purpose it for a conversion or something.

Glad you're ok g4qber - such a hassle dealing with car accidents with insurance, quotes etc. hope it all goes smoothly. I've just got my leaf back from some guttering falling on the bonnet after storms in Adelaide - only $1000 damage but still almost 2 weeks without the car and $400 excess.

Should be safer for all of us in Perth now with one less stalking vehicle available for you to find us with. 2012 Volt has been sold to Simon 2011 imiev is with KT, Tom, Larry and Ralph. 2010 imiev batt to be installed if EVBatmon for imiev determines that State of Health (SoH) of battery is better than 55% KT's 2010 imiev SoH = 86.88% waiting for Tango to be possibly delivered by Easter. |

i3 has been written off www.commutercars.com/au/Tango official cost at least USD240k only will be possibly dragging p85+ model S. beats the original roadster anyway - 0-100kmh in 3.5 secs Easter deadline is going to be missed, should be here by Christmas 2017 |

OK, that is serious money for a Tango. Enough to buy a Model S or X. Am I missing something about this? Are you looking at paying the official cost, or doing some sort of kit that they mention on their website?

Battery has been removed from the i3 for now. Not sure if they will put it back for auction. Tango is fully assembled by Rick Woodbury. George Clooney had lead acid model, but sold it back to rick. Google founders have one each. 12 in the world. There is a black one in nsw. Came in under kit rules. Has been stymied by local nsw bureaucrats. Mine is coming in as a new car. Both cars are on the Aeva register. rvcs-prodweb.dot.gov.au/sevs/sevsindex.htmI believe in the concept. Right tool for job. Commuting. Footprint of a Honda gold wing. Future models will be less power, cheaper and have an airbag. Will be hilarious when I win 2 model s teslas A) ms luxury lotto B) Hahn super dry Comp |
