I wasn't there but TMC reported that the Bowral meet today broke the Southern Hemisphere record (don't you love it) for the highest number of Teslas in one place with 41. They had owners from NSW, QLD, VIC, ACT, SA and even WA. I don't think anyone from WA drove there just for this event but you never know! What's the record for the highest number of Leafs at a meet in Oz? I thought 7 at the Sydney meet in Nov was pretty good!

Knew of that record Tesla meet, but didn't know where it was. 7 could well be the record for a LEAF meet. I've been to one of 6 and knew of another of 6, but Tesla sales soon outstripped those for the LEAF so a much larger meet is really no surprise.

Although I do wonder how many Leafs VS Teslas in Australia. Also, for those who can afford Tesla, simply have more time in their hands to have meetups

Although I do wonder how many Leafs VS Teslas in Australia. We'll probably never know for sure, but I saw a recent report that estimated there are now 1400 Teslas in Australia. The estimate for Leafs in Australia (knowing that some of the original imports went to NZ) is around 500-600. Another difference is that a significant percentage of Leafs went to fleets (e.g. Sydney City Council) whereas almost all Teslas are privately owned. Fleet owners are unlikely to let their cars go to meets When Model 3 arrives here early next year, these numbers will be blown out of the water.
