Just spotted a white LEAF for Auction(could get for a great price) in WA. www.pickles.com.au/facet-search#!/result?q=(And.(C.Make.Nissan._.(C.Model.LEAF._.Series.ZE0.))_.ProductType.Vehicles._.GreenStarRating.range(5..5).) I'm going to be watching, and if!! It turns out to be a gift, I'll pitch in. I'm living in hope it will be like the 'gaggle' of iMIEV's that once passed through at very low prices. However, now i have noted it here, one may take it. Worth a look in if one seeks EV technology. LEAF SOLD.

I like auctions, I picked up my Renault Zoe Intense with low km for only €7000 in Lorient.

Does anyone know the fate of this White Leaf for Auction? It's been delisted from the website.
I completely forgot about it. If it got sold under 20k, I would whack myself on the head for forgetting joining in!!

You can contact them for the final selling price. Once sold, all the items are de-listed almost immediately.

rusdy - It sold for $19.25K (with all the fees Pickles add onto it, it ended up being $20.1K). The reason I know? I'm the proud owner (although haven't actually seen it yet). It will get shipped to Sydney in the next week or so! Thanks 4wardthinking for the heads up about it

Mine took about 7 days to get to Melbourne from Perth. Enjoy and don't forget to post up some pictures once you get it!

It will get shipped to Sydney in the next week or so! Thanks 4wardthinking for the heads up about it You're welcome.... and welcome to the 21st century mode of personal transport. I'm guessing this is your first EV, and I'm certain it will not be your last. You will soon discover you are not alone, and how many people would like to have an EV. You can be sure the questions are to follow, and the awe in traffic as other road users see what it is. First thing to do is call Nissan HQ, and get through to either Tristan or Dean there. They know & do all things LEAF. Here you should register the car and it's many technological facets to yourself. They are also there for any questions you may have. Then all you do is plug in the car to a 10amp socket via the EVSE located in the rear hatch. The LEAF is very well appointed inside, and such a smooth, silent drive. Congratulations on being part of a small number now, but steadily growing community. The planet can breathe a little better each day, and your bank will appreciate the growing balance!.

I'm experiencing some regret today and my Leaf hasn't even left WA yet. The admin lady I have been emailing said that there was no cable with the vehicle. I've asked her to double check that with the floor staff and I will be checking with CEVA tomorrow.
Worst case scenario, if she is right (it wasn't disclosed that it was missing the EVSE in the condition report) what am I up for in $$ to replace it?
My Leaf won't be in Sydney until 13th Feb. I also did some digging and this Leaf previously belonged to Subiaco City council. Surely they wouldn't have held onto the EVSE or lost it?
Thanks all.

Last I checked the Nissan EVSE was around $3k to replace. You're better off getting a Holden Volt EVSE for somewhere between $350-$400.
Where abouts in Sydney are you based and will you need any help with keeping it charged until you get your own cable?

That's quite unfortunate Kim, may I suggest an alternative? www.ebay.com.au/itm/Portable-EV-Electric-Charger-J1772-10-15A-3-3kw-EVSE-Level-2-PHEV-LEAF-I3-/112271438648?hash=item1a23e63338:g:kpgAAOSwux5YQK76I've actually been eyeing this one off for a while as it's a true 3.3KW charger (15Amp) rather than the 2.4KW charger (10Amp) that is supplied with the vehicle. It is also switchable which means it can be simply plugged into a standard 10Amp socket. This means that once you have a 15Amp circuit installed, it'll actually charge faster than the Nissan supplied cable and much much cheaper than the $3k apparently charged by Nissan. They are based in the next suburb to me in Melbourne which is an added bonus for me. Let us know how you go but it's not the end of the world not having the cable as there are alternatives and you have nabbed a really good deal on the car.

I've ordered mine. 15/32 amp version. $750 Russ Shepherd is great Requested that a 2m cable with 32 amp 3 phase 5 pin plug be used, but with 1 phase only connected. Easier to cart around than this m.facebook.com/estation.oz/posts/856889874349761Good thing about volt 10 amp evse is that it has 10 amp plug. Nissan Evse only pulls 10 amps but has a 15 amp plug.

More on the EVSEs... Clive from the Tassie AEVA branch (you may know him as the guy who drove his Leaf from Hobart to Adelaide and back) has a Gelco charger I think it is GS1015 here -> www.gelcoservices.com.au/gelco_electric_vehicle.htmThe one in Pharmadave's ebay link looks good - the info display in particular - but I notice it says "Up to 3.5kw charging rate or approx. 15km of range per hour". My experience has been about 20-25km from a full 15A (3.3kw) EVSE? Is the seller underestimating (or perhaps basing it on a different vehicle)? And finally g4qber: I assume this is not for a Leaf, since I thought a Leaf could only charge at 15A/3.3kw (not counting the overseas 6.6kw versions)?

Correct Leaf supposed to charge at 3.3kw But seems to charge at 4kw = 17amps x 240 volts
I was getting the 15/32 for my now crashed i3
I had tesla adaptor on order with gelco, but it was taking a while so I chopped my chilye 16 amp type 2 to type 1 cable instead and saved me $385

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. CEVA are checking the car today to see if it has the cable or not.
Thanks Pharmadave, I did find that ebay listing and was wondering if it was any good.
Feng, if it doesn't have the cable, I will be ordering it this week (possibly from the ebay listing, although the $350 Volt cable is a bit cheaper). Since the car isn't due to arrive for another 2.5 weeks, I hope the cable will arrive before then.
Also, the car is going straight to my local Nissan Leaf dealer to have it's service, TCU update and a blue slip done (so it could be registered in NSW).

@kim Any updates on your Leaf? My Leaf was booked for the service, tcu update and blue slip for last Wednesday but there was a delay on CEVA's end and it didn't arrive at the dealer until today and is rebooked for next Friday as my dealer is very full. I will go there tomorrow to see my Leaf in person. The dealer did say if they find the time they will do the service etc earlier but I'm not holding my breath. It took almost a month to move from Perth to Sydney!

Wow, that did take a long time for get across to Sydney. There has been some very heavy rainfall in parts of WA, perhaps that may have had something to do with it.
Hope it all works out and you get your Leaf on the road.

Also has 11 of the 12 bars so better than I expected. Total came to about $22.5K including registration, CTP, stamp duty, delivery, service and blue slip.

Excellent work Kim! The white colour really does stand out. Looks in good condition. You did well with the purchase. Did you have to fix anything to get the car road worthy?
