Has anyone in Australia attempted to install a Brusa charger in a LEAF like the guys in the States?

I have considered it, the cost far out-weighs the benefits from my aspect though. Looks easy enough, but I'd consider changing the charger itself for a 2013 or above LEAF, as these are more in-line with the cars cabling etc. If... our car was way out of warranty, and I had one, it would be viable. One has to consider the power feed to the car if one tried to take more than 2.4Kw though. Doable!, yes, viable with warranty implications, I'm un-sure.

Yes, but only because I have a habit of playing with things....realistically we have no issue with overnight, 3.6kw charges

Then I'd just put a 15a socket in, and buy an upgraded or 15a capable charger. I did the same. The Leaf here can absorb 3.5kw standard. The reason it's limited on the standard charger is our cabling standards in AU are not really that safe. Our new home has some attrocious wiring and work-man ship, all "certified" by a paper waving Italian hand-shake inspector. Just be sure to get cabling direct from the distribution box, and then increase the CSA by 2. Enclose it in fireproof conduit... or use PYRO cable. That's almost bomb-proof.
