I blame you chuq. Had the unit replaced Friday as well. The mechanics said they called up Nissan to ask for advice and they were unable to help as something had gone down and said 'don't call us, we'll call you'. Had a laugh with the mechanic. Hopefully will just need it in the workshop for a couple of minutes to get it reconfigured.

Well it looks like at least 4 Leaf owners have now had their TCUs replaced, working, and sending data to Carwings... here are the current Australian economy rankings for January captured from the Nissan Connect portal - all four of them! I'd like to know how ELLIOTT managed to change his Carwings nickname!

I'd like to know how ELLIOTT managed to change his Carwings nickname! Thats me with the Elliott tag however I also have no idea how that happened...... When I first purchased the leaf I had all sorts of issues with carwings, multiple emails and phone calls back and forth to Moorooka Nissan and Dean at HQ. Then one day it was sorted but I dont remember putting my name in there haha.

Just dropped the car off earlier this afternoon. I gave them my Carwings login details. We'll wait and see what happens once it's back.

Just got my car back and I'm not sure if this is what people are saying aren't working but my Nissan Connect EV app seems to be able to connect to the Leaf now. Remote climate control seems to work as well as notifications. Here is a screen grab from my phone:

That's me in first place but I still can't control my car. Use the steering wheel Feng. Less accidents that way as well. LOL

Chun, do you have your tcu fixed?
I bring it in yesterday to get the hardware installed. The dealer has difficulties in activating the account and asked me to bring in the car again today.
I bring it in this morning. After a few hours, I called them and they told me there is a technical issue and are talking to Nissan technical support. Both Nissan HQ and the dealer said they don't know if it will be fixed today.
I can connect to update stations but upon using carwings functions, it tells me to create an account.

Had my TCU upgraded today. All good. Phone app works, although still waiting for some data to appear on CarWings. I guess that will all appear in the next couple of days.

Chun, do you have your tcu fixed? Still nothing! Get the error "To use Carwings service, you need to create an account" each time I enter the username and password and it tries to authenticate. DJ Nissan sent me an "are you happy with your service? Reply YES or NO" SMS. I replied NO so I expect they'll contact me soon!

Still nothing! Get the error "To use Carwings service, you need to create an account" each time I enter the username and password and it tries to authenticate. Same here. Had the TCU replaced on Thursday at SJN, unfortunately the service dept was crazy busy that day and the yard was like a parking lot in Rome. They didn't get the job done until late in the day and it was 4:50pm when I picked it up. So I didn't take my own advice to get them to prove to me that it worked due to the time, and also the service guy said they'd done a few of them so I thought they'd figured it all out by now. I entered my Carwings credentials and got exactly that message. I thought maybe Carwings is only updated with account information overnight or something and I would try again later. It still didn't work yesterday. Feng - did you do anything special to get yours working (at least the data upload bit ) I'll call SJN tomorrow.

I'm not sure if what I did fixed the problem or if it was just timing, but I went into Carwings -> Settings -> Security Settings -> Activate Security Settings. The car (re)authenticated. The username is the same Nxxxxxxx username on the website and in my case was still there.

The dealer (or Nissan) needs to setup something with their computer system. Once it's done, it worked immediately. I can check battery status, etc using my mobile app with them same account. My dealer couldn't initialise my account because their software needed an update.

I got mine replaced on Feb 1st and everything was working. The app, air con and range bars all work and data being sent to car wings. Only thing is, I no longer get email notifications when the car is full like I used to.

I called SJN on Monday morning and the person on the phone knew nothing about Carwings so he said they'd call me back. They didn't. I emailed them on Tuesday morning asking them to re-establish my Carwings account. No response. Today on a whim I entered my username/password in the car again, and... everything worked! I have no idea whether SJN did in fact do something in response to my queries, or whether it was just a delayed set-up from when I had the TCU swap done last week. All the car telematics work and the phone App works too, battery status updated and I can control the car. I am very curious to see whether any trip data prior to the TCU swap is uploaded to Carwings in the coming days. It all depends on whether that data is stored in the car or in the TCU itself (and if so - for how long is it stored?). YAY!!

Hopefully will work afters Had TCU replaced, seems to work since it updates charge stations etc but need to check login and password as I can see no details on the carwings website and I am still unable to use the android app as it insists on an email address as a login yet its asking for the portal username which is an alphanumeric and I guess the same as I use on the portal ( it doesnt login ) . A bit obtuse

The app is unable to communicate with the car for me at the moment. Worked for a couple of days and now no good Also getting a warning light sometimes when I charge to 100%. Clears if I restart the car. No discernible problem with driving.

TCU changed today at Metro Nissan. About an hour and with a bit more to top up the battery. Seems working on the car, but no data yet on app or web interface. Wait and see..

It all depends on whether that data is stored in the car or in the TCU itself (and if so - for how long is it stored?). And the answer is no. Carwings data upload recommenced only from the date the Carwings account was re-enabled and no historical data during the offline period was stored or uploaded.

Look for N2014533 in the rankings Yep, you're now there, along with 22 others . More and more Leafs are back on line! Unfortunately you are currently last in the Australian energy economy eco-rankings

Still not up from last thursday, checked the login in the car, seems correct. I get the display below, and on the app it says "To use NissanConnect Service, you need to register your User ID from the vehicle Navigation System."
