Somewhat redundant. With no new cars available the second hand price may go up a little.

I've been invited to take the Leaf to Noosa next Saturday as part this: ZEN TAG (Zero Emissions Noosa Transport Action Group) are inviting the community to have their say on future transport for Noosa. There will also be a Model S and some electric bikes.

Hi Stewart, That would be great to catch up, I'll pm you the contact details of the guy who organised the display. I am planning to use the rapid charger, or I won't be able to get home again, with it being a 120 km round trip.

Lookout for the next ATA 'Renew' magazine (https://shop.ata.org.au/product-category/magazines/renew) issue 131 due out next month, as there will be a focus on EVs, including our LEAF. Also fyi Vic owners, City of Greater Geelong City is finally getting onboard and will be installing a level 2 charger (no Tritium Veefil unfortunately) on the Geelong waterfront in the near future.

Josh Frydenbery happens to be my local member of Parliament and he is the Environment and Energy Minister. I have written to him recently regarding the upcoming government review on Vehicle Emissions and I got a response! He also congratulated us on changing our business vehicle to a Zero Emissions vehicle.
I will try and keep up with the review and try and offer my input as a local constituent where I can.

Thanks Phoebe, it seems some of the suggestions I made in my email will be used as part of a formal stakeholder submission in to the review. We'll wait and see what happens (if anything).

During the correspondences, I also cheekily asked for his department to consider to install a public DC Fast Charger outside his office as a gesture of his support for Zero Emissions. I'll wait and see what the response is (if any...).

Went to the Solar City Expo on Sunday in Werribee. It was a clear day but it was just too warm for the kids so we hid in cafes and restaurants whilst I left a poster up on the car. There was a BioDiesel generator which allowed us to charge whilst the cars were there. Nice thought by the organisers. Teslas, Leafs, Imievs a Volt, Home Brew EVs were present. Overall I was a bit disappointed at the number of people (which was minimal) interested in the EVs on display. Gotta start somewhere I guess.

If you can get to my place in Geelong West by 8:30am I could give you a lift to/from the Deakin Uni event. My Leaf will also be on demo there. My contact details are on Plugshare. The talks don't begin until 10am. Cheers

There is also no mentioning of the generator was running on BioDiesel. If there are education information about how EV helps to reduce emission, improve energy efficiencies, etc., it can get more attentions.

The latest issue of ReNew magazine features some Leafs in a few stories, including "Solar empowered: Electric vehicle households tell all". Also has articles about charging and driverless cars. All worth reading. renew.org.au/

I'm starting to organise my third annual EV display at the Sunshine Coast on June 4th. I've lined up a ZeeBee, which is being launched in Brisbane onto the Australian market over the next couple of months, and is a 3-wheeled EV commuter car or fleet vehicle. It looks like a lot of fun. link
And a video interview about the ZBee in Brisbane: link

Nice to see the few negative comments get drowned out by positive ones. I have actually been berated by a person when filling up a few years back, called a F.. greenie luney. Told them I voted conservative and could he drive from the coast to Brisbane for $2. Was then told to 'procreate with myself'. In comparison, in France people are very positive when they see you filling up... Time is needed..
