Logged in to Carwings for the first time in about 5 months, so it's my first taste of the new NissanConnect. Everything seems to be there, just formatted differently. Some of the headings seem to be Japlish though ("Electric Rate Simulation", "Your Participation Statues In The World Rankings"??). The navigation is still as un-straightforward as previously, it's quite hard to find some things if you can't remember which pages you need to click through. I scrolled back on my energy stats and got very alarmed when nothing showed for July or earlier, since the most recent stats I downloaded were from April and I don't want any gaps in my data. However although nothing is displayed on the web page, if you click the "Download Electricity Usage Records" button at the bottom of the page, the CSV file downloaded actually does have all the data still in it. So I downloaded all the missing months and will process it to see how my Leaf is faring. I've rocketed up the efficiency charts to 22nd in the region my highest ever ranking.

Will save on ink should you print out the charts, the white theme refreshing. Could the ripples of change be an indication of a new model in Australia?

Could the ripples of change be an indication of a new model in Australia? As jacky said in the other Carwings thread, I hope the 2016 model doesn't come here if it means the all-new long-range 2017 model is delayed until they sell whatever 2016 stock they bring in. If Nissan promised the 2017 model will be available in Australia without delay and regardless of whatever Leaf stock levels they still had, then fine.

I hope they don't bring another shipment in too, not without some serious commitment and infrastructure upgrades. They would need to drop the price to $30k or less if they hope to sell another year's worth of LEAFs before an all new model comes out.

I've downloaded the app and tried it out - much better than the old one and you get access to all the Carwings stats too, which the previous app did not provide. However I cannot update my driving range status. It is stuck on the last update (14 Oct) and if I try to refresh it, it gives an error message "The service cannot be provided. Please try again or contact NISSAN". And yet accessing all the Carwings stats worked so my password etc must be correct.
And you can also display your user account information, but unfortunately you still cannot change your nickname :-( we are stuck with N and a number.

App is working for me now as well but I also have the issue where current range is not showing however all the other data is there. Try clicking on the drop down menu, then press the down arrow in the right hand corner, then choose your name again and after that mine reset the data to show range etc.

It seems that Leaf link does not work as well - Unknown error code 9005 from CARWINGS.

I get the same error message as before. I then logged on to the web portal on my PC and updated the battery status from there and the range was updated. I went back to the App and updated its status via your method, and it now shows the updated driving range as per the PC. But if I ask the App to update the driving range again, same error again. Is anyone else having this issue?

Add me to the list of the app not working. I updated and can see all my driving data but the range and charge don't display. hopefully it fixes itself up soon enough.

Please try again or contact NISSAN". Leaf link is also giving an error - "Unknown error code 9005 from CARWINGS. I remember someone posting about the 2G network getting switched sometime soonish - This hasn't begun has it?

Ahh quick search shows end of 2016 for shut down of 2G so that shouldn't be the issue. Not far off though

Ahh quick search shows end of 2016 for shut down of 2G so that shouldn't be the issue. Not far off though I've wondered whether the telematics module is carrier locked to Telstra. I would assume not. So an Optus SIM should work until April 2017, Vodafone who knows when (they have made no announcement). Time for a new thread...
