I used to argue with people on forums about it but realised it wasn't worth the effort. Their minds won't change but EVs will still sell regardless of how many naysayers there are. I just focus on the positives now instead.

A long time ago, a car price above 60k was astronomical to me. But now I see people driving luxury cars everywhere (and mighty expensive 4x4's). So I guess people in Australia with the money will purchase Tesla's (like is happening in the USA). I don't think the negative people in the comments would ever purchase a luxury car (and then drive it outback).

The only thing stopping me from diving in there and ripping into all the naysayers is the comment system is based on Facebook, and I'm not on it. Possibly a good thing in this case.
