Three days after I took delivery of my Leaf I clipped the back of it on a bolt in the side of my front fence which pulled the whole back panel right out. The smash repairer managed to push it back in temporarily and I had been driving round like that ever since until he could fix it this week. I went to collect it today but on my way home I drove over a large screw which punctured a tyre. The NRMA just changed my wheel for me and I'll have to get the puncture fixed tomorrow. At this stage I am wondering what will go wrong next Has anyone else had any bad luck

Oh no! That's awful. The worst thing that happened to us is my wife scraped the curb, which made a small scratch at the bottom of the wheel well and punctured the tyre.
Can't really see the scratch but we did find that the tyre type is quite rare here, probably due to it's high PSI and efficiency.
Hope your luck improves, the LEAF is supposed to make your life better, not frustrating!

Sorry for your bad luck, Phoebe. Don't blame the LEAF - such things happened with my F.F.Bs ( Fossil Fuel Burners ). After we had owned our LEAF for about two months, my wife phoned me in tears one day - she had returned to our beautiful, unmarked LEAF in the shopping centre carpark to find some other car had damaged the left, rear door panel. When I first saw it, it looked bad because there was quite a bit of dirt / scuff marks around the damage. However, when I carefully removed these, we were left with a very slightly dented panel which is not immediately noticeable . . . and the tears have stopped

I'm still waiting for a new tyre to come up from Melbourne. Not terribly happy driving for days on the 'spare tyre' that comes with the Leaf. You musn't do more than 80kph on it and it looks fairly flimsy. Bit upset they didn't give us 5 decent tyres - gives no opportunity for any kind of rotation

I am told some overseas LEAFs don't even come with spare tyres.
In Australia, the spare has been retro-fitted to comply with Australian regulations. A normal size spare would add weight and reduce range.
