Keen to meet up if the event is still going ahead. Darling Harbour sounds a good starting point.

Ok. I 'scoped out' our journey by Pruis yesterday to NSW central coast from home at the Botanic Gardens, Camden. It's 74.9km to Maccas, Dural, and 65kms to Gosford. Three parts to this journey. Freeway to the 'Hills district' at 100-110kmh. Easy do for our leaf. The Hills side includes a 3/4 section part to Dural Maccas for a coffee & nibble while charging. Expecting to take an hour or so, then on to Wahroonga, and the F1(M1). The ups and downs will almost negate themselves, less losses of course. It's a journey. Leaves me with charging at Gosford. Overcome this, and return will encompass the fast charger at N Strathfield. Sydney area is within the frame. Or if course, a reverse of this.
A journey, frequent the "trail blazing" Dural Maccas, and pootle! around Sydney.
Following "jolly" south, and toward the "Gong" etc.
How does it sound so far?.

OK, but if more than 2 EVs turn up (which is kinda necessary to call it a "meet" ) then we'd all be at Maccas Dural for more than 1 hour, taking turns to charge. I could probably get there and back without charging - need to check the trip planner.

True. So it has to be established or defined.
A meet is a collection of 3 or more, Convoy or "cavalcade", is a number with the same destination.
I think that whichever way, the better option may be meeting at a DCFC. Then on from there. Most takers would be looking for a top-up I guess. maybe a meet & chat at one place?. It's going to be pleasant to have a brew wherever it may be. Maccas for their participation is a good idea. I'm thinking for me, the only Sydney DCFC first, and then on to another destination with charge facilities, or maybe the other way around. Make it a relatively short thing as such, and then AOB as it goes. This way, it helps some by not taking a large portion of the few days free to achieve other things most have available.

UoW currently has two bay L2 ChargePoint: api.plugshare.com/view/location/80965The fast charger will be at their Innovation Campus, which is elsewhere in Wollongong. Last I heard about two weeks ago they were pouring concrete and the Veefil is on-site and waiting to be installed. I saw on plugshare that Feng had been to try and use the UoW Cademo, but without success earlier in December. I was going that way anyway (though not in my Leaf), so I decided to check it out. It looks like it is now ready to use. I rang Feng, and he he agreed when I described the messages on the screen etc. So I'm planning to take my leaf down there in the next few days and give it a proper try out. I hope nobody beats me to it. I intend to go by myself and allocate lots of time in case I need to go to plan-B. Wish me luck, Mark

Great, it's a DC charger. I have a few 'Gong visits in the next few months, and fast changing is going to be perfect to make the journey home more pleasurable!.
