Originally posted this in the GPS section but thinking nobody looks in there. Does anyone know if you can change the amount of warning time the GPS gives you? Feels like it waits until I'm already there then suddenly says TURN RIGHT NOW when it's too late. Seems like there would be a distance setting, 150M out, 300M out etc. but I can't find anything. Anyone else feel this way or are my reaction times just getting slower as I get older!

Haven't been off the beaten track enough recently to use the GPS. But the other day it did warn of a ' Red light camera ' 200m ahead. Will find an excuse to use the GPS and test it.

Thanks Brian. I use it constantly as I'm always in foreign territory.
95% of the time it's great, but sometimes I'll be in a highly condensed area where there are cross streets every 10 metres.
It will give an initial warning of "in 300 metres, right turn" but doesn't announce which it actually is until I'm right on it. This wouldn't be a big problem except there are often turn bays and they may already have cars in it, forcing me to miss the turn. Very frustrating.
The solution is to watch the GPS screen, but in high traffic driving in an unfamiliar area, this is dangerous.
I've used GPS devices for over 10 years and wouldn't live without them, there is just something about how the LEAF's is set up that isn't working for me.
I'll keep poking at it but if anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it.

Yes, we get traffic updates as well.
