First time I've seen a LEAF while driving my LEAF. It was a red one, with advertising all over it, possibly the SEA one. I had stopped at the red light on Bennett St , travelling west along Hay St at 0720hrs on Tue 14th Jan, 2014. Very funny. Now, to do the same with an iMiEV

Haha funny you mention an encounte!
Last week I was out and about in my suburb Point Cook when I spotted another blue LEAF. I did my darnedest to follow so I could jump out and have a chat but the lady driver wasn't as kind to her accelerator as I am mine and I lost her in the rabbit warren streets the estates have. Very dissapointed. Another LEAF living so close would be awesome!

On my way to the RAC driving centre (DC) on Sunday I was on East Walter Rd. White LEAF was in the public driveway. I stopped Gave AEVA flyer & e-station card to the lady owner. There was a 3 legged large dog belonging to lady friend of the LEAF owner. Ms LEAF other 1/2 has an Audi RS4. Not her type of car as she is a yoga teacher. Didn't get her name though. Hopefully she & partner may turn up to AEVA Perth meetings in future. They imported the car from over east; may have been cheaper. According to Murray @ RAC DC stamp duty is best in Queensland. Hence some people with investment properties in Q'land have Q'land plates on their Porsches, etc.

We passed a white Leaf with P plates on (I think they were P plates), on Albert St Osborne Park (Perth), back on the 27th of Dec. I waved, but not sure if they noticed they were passing another Leaf.

I've see two red LEAFs (like mine) driving on different streets within 200m of my house in Montmorency in the last month. I know they are different by the rego. I followed one for about 100m before we turned in different directions. I've seen read LEAFs at least three other places but I don't know if they are the same ones. I only seem to notice red ones, they just seem to catch my eye.

I've seen David's red LEAF on two separate occasions. It seems that red is the colour to be seen in. Also spotted Mike's very noticeable LEAF when he wasn't driving it and a white one on Princes Highway I didn't recognise.

I tend to see the red ones too (like mine ) around Nunawading Vic but have seen a couple of whites too , one on a fleet (district nurse) and one private one today near Blackburn lake. Probably I'm up to about one a month which is more than when I bought over a year ago - which is a good sign.
With the racv putting their trial leafs up for sale (see the last email update) there will be a few more changing hands soon too.

Spotted another red one today on Canterbury Rd, I think it was markrmarkr's. The tinted windows made it hard to see the driver. I still get excited when I spot another LEAF on the road!

Feng, I just checked my history on google maps, and I was definitely not on Cantebury Rd at any time on Saturday! Are you sure it was Saturday. I'm pretty sure if you saw my car you’d remember the plates too, as they really pop out at you now. So I guess that means there is another red Leaf out there. But still only one red Autumn Leaf. Mark

I saw the red LEAF on Sunday and I did see red on black number plates but couldn't make out the writing quick enough, I was too busy waving and trying to see the driver if the driver will wave back.

Matt,
in that case it could have been me as I was on Canterbury Rd several times and on different parts of the road. Can you tell me the time and place, and what each of us were doing?
Also were you driving your Leaf too?
Also I've PMed you a map.
Mark

It must be autumn, I am seeing too many LEAFs... For 3 months, I have seen no other LEAF (apart from arranged meet ups) and then in the last 3 days, I saw one each day (although two may have been the same one). In the shopping centre car park in Rowville, this is what happened: The empty space where I parked had a blue LEAF next to it!! We also waived at 2 other drivers and they were a bit surprised :-) Hopefully, the idea is spreading...
