You don't get to admire them often since you're usually behind the wheel but I followed David's LEAF home on the motorway tonight and think the rear lights look futuristic. Just the shape and how the LEDs are arranged in a row make them look like they're propelling the car on thrusters.

You're not an old Battlestar Galactica fan are you Feng? BTW are we able to upload our own audible sounds to the speaker, X wing fighter perhaps?

Feng, its the burgundy colour that does it. It even makes the car go faster!!!! I take it you were not in your leaf, as I would have spotted that

That's right, I was in the Honda. I saw your car drive past, got all excited thinking it was another LEAF spotted in the wild and then... I wouldn't call it disappointed, it was just, "Oh, it's Dave, haha, small world". Then I just followed you for a while and enjoyed the view.

Jeez Dave, you'd need your shields up and phasors energised with a disappointed Trekie on your tail.

Haha! I thought about beeping at Dave to get his attention but then he wouldn't know who I am and might think it was just some obnoxious SUV driver taking issue with his nemesis.
How was the Frankfurt Motor Show?

HUGE! 11 Massive halls, of course 1 each for Mercedes, Audi & BMW. A nice intro for the i3 which had a lot of attention, i8 is v impressive though still part ICE. A lot of hybrids appearing but a little thin still on the 100% EV market though nissan had the new e-NV200 van and ford/Renault had their offering s. I sat in a Tesla S and it was love at first touch, fantastic quality and feel . Lastly no charge point suppliers on show, however schneider electric seem to have a lot of the manufacturers in the bag including BMW. I will be strengthening my relationship with them in the near future.
