:)I HAVE BEEN DRIVING LEAF FOR 4 WEEKS.SHE GOES IN FOR FIRST CHECK THIS WEEK. SO FAR VERY IMPRESSED,BUT WONDERING HOW MANY NEW OWNERS HAVE BEEN BOOKED FOR GOING OVER THE LIMIT SO FAR,IT'S OS EASY TO SLIP OVER THE SPEED LIMIT WITHOUT CONSTANTLY WATCHING THE SPEDO. MORE LATER,BOB.

Welcome, Bob. I've been lucky so far But the cruise control certainly gets a work-out. Friends have commented that 80 kph feels like you are only doing 60 kph, and I can identify with that.

Welcome Bob, good to have you here!
It's so easy isn't it? I've heard someone had their Aussie LEAF up to 140KM per hour but I'm not naming names!
Kind of nice that it calls out when speed cameras are near by. I don't speed but it's always good to check when it's announced!

Likewise - a very happy Christmas to all , and may 2013 see great growth of EVs, and LEAFs / Leaves in particular. ( I don't know which it should be either, other than using an initial capital letter as befits such a brilliant car ). I gave a short presentation on sustainable transport to some 9 y.o. school kids the other day, followed by demo rides in the LEAF. Excited comments included ' I want one ', ' I want one too ', with one girl piping up ' I am going to get my dad to get one ', which I liked !
