The Victorian EV trial is paying off for electric car owners too. I notice on www.transport.vic.gov.au/projects/ev-trial/where-do-i-charge-my-car... that we now have two fast chargers in relatively close proximity (Coburg - Inner North, Hawthorn - Inner East). Both are through charge point but I haven't managed to swing past yet. Anyone else used them ? Gotchas or simple and straight forward ? I gotta say the $38k to $50k costs seem to be something that government or a cash positive / astute organisation could expend. I'm assuming that will fall. (Good to see charge point popping up in Geelong - I'd stand some chance of a Lorne getaway with a lunch stop in Geelong soon).

I've used both, simpe to use and free for the time. ) I was the first person to use the Moreland one,I was there the day ChargePoint commissioned it. Go me! LOL They are perfectly positioned for me living in the west, opens up the whole north/east area for much further trips. PS my current profile pic is my LEAF charging at the Swinburne charger.
