Check out my Leaf for Sale - $500 instant discount for OzLeaf Proboards Users ($15,999) Good price! If this happened 6 months ago, prior me decided to go ahead paying full battery replacement, I would take yours instead (and sell mine super cheap)! This confirms the new battery replacement is a 'canary' type (i.e. identical gen-1 with crappy chemistry).

The good news is though... By the time you have to replace this battery you may be able to get a 100 kWh solid state battery, that won't need cooling, for $2,500.
