My Leaf is an import. It is the 2015 base model and came with red wheel covers as shown and they weren't bad however I wanted something more sporty but did not want to fork out for alloy wheels. I found these black, chrome and red covers on EBay. I think it was a good investment for around $50. I have also replaced the audio system with a Sony head which is Carplay compatible which is a great upgrade giving me music, podcasts and navigation. That cost about $500. Attachments:

Nice! The bit of red on the new ones are still a good match to the paint. Your old hubcaps are the same as on our midrange Japanese import, except ours are the stock silver. I assume the previous owner had yours painted to match the paint.

In this model the charge timer is set from the dashboard near the trip meter so it's no problem.
