Hi everyone, Not sure if this forum rules allow this (feel free to delete if it isn't), but I just wanted to share an EV certified mechanic that services Leafs.
These guys have a Certification for AURSS00037 – Electric Vehicle Inspection and Servicing Skill Set, so they actually care about EVs. As we know, most Nissan dealerships know basically nothing about Leafs, apart from the ones that are specialist Leaf service centres. And there doesn't seem to be the sort of independent EV Specialist that exists in America (not that I've found anyway).
They are on the Southside (South West): Future Auto at Sumner Park
They are licenced mechanics with 20+ years experience, so they do normal vehicles as well of course. But better than most other mechanics that don't really know what to do with EVs.

It’s not Brisbane but if you are in Hobart, French Car Care in Kingston services EVs. The head mechanic actually owns a Leaf and is an enthusiast as well. I have nothing but contempt for DJ Nissan, the one official dealer...

Thanks rangersac, I decided to change the Title of the thread. It can be a thread about EV Mechanics in general, wherever they are. Not sure if there already is a thread like this, but probably not as up-to-date.

It's a helpful post Tomkauf! I got bitten and spat out by Nissan dealerships regarding the Leaf. Mostly out of ignorance, but that's not excuse when it comes to safety.
I don't know anyone in NSW, unfortunately.
