My LEAF currently has 205/55R16 tyres. The speedo reads quite high compared to a GPS app, e.g. almost 10% high. Would 205/60R16 fit okay and slightly improve the speedo accuracy?

My leaf has original 16" wheels and new tires of original specification 205/55R16 and the speedometer also reads nearly 10% higher than true speed measured by GPS. The speedometer reading over actual road speed by as much as 10% seems to be pretty standard on cars in Australia. I am about to fit 215/60R16 tires which I think my tire supplier said is the maximum width allowed for the standard rim and is also the maximum legal increase in diameter. I haven't done a trial fit yet, but the Leaf seems to have an abundance of clearance for larger wheels and tires. The speedometer will still read high, but not as much.
