Nice find. Hope the new model sells better here than the first (pretty low bar to clear). I wonder how many prospective owners might decide to save ~$20k by opting for a grey market import instead?

Grey market imports don't have the 40 kWh batteries/range, and possibly no Australian service support from Nissan (not sure on that one). I'm a bit disappointed with the pricing on the new Leaf. When the Ioniq with the 38 kWh battery arrives later this year, it will be really interesting to see how the prices of the two compare. The 28 kWh Ioniq BEV is from 45K + ORC.

Wow, I'm surprised, as my understanding of the grey import rules was that they couldn't bring in any car version that Australian Nissan was planning to sell here. I can see in their description that they can't bring in any made after April this year.

That may be manufactured year? Leaves door open for 60kWh imports!

If you subtract 384 cars from 2017 that were sold in both "Australia? and Austria " The numbers pretty much agree.
