TLDR (too long didn't read): quick summary
Report is overwhelmingly supportive of the Australian Government having a strategy to increase the uptake of EVs in all sectors of the market. Many suggestions as to how this can happen. (page 127 - Chapter 6 for committee recommendations)
I'm really happy with the outcome of the report. Good to get something on record to confirm all the advantages of EVs and how they can benefit Australia.

And here I am wondering why NSW rego renewals aren't subsidized already.
I needed to pay $500 to register the leaf for a year, same price as my family's CRV.
I do understand it goes by weight of the vehicle, my featherweight mirage costs $300. Yet the Gov insists on carbon tax..

Great report but i understand neither the Coalition nor the Labor party is interested in implementing the recommendations!
