Melbourne Leaf Owners Meet-up anyone?

Hi all,

Just to gauge interest of a Melbourne meet up of Leaf owners?

Any suggestions of locations? I'm thinking a place where there is a convenient DC fast charger for Leaf owners who may need a charge to get back home.

Hawthorn Swinburn University might be a good location choice, there's a nice park nearby and lots of dining options if people want food.

I'm happy to bring my Leaf Spy Pro and V-Link Dongle for anyone curious about the app and want a scan of their car's health etc.

I might also be able to get Russell from EVolution to come along to display, demonstrate and discuss charging solutions.

Would be lovely to find someone with a Japanese Leaf so we can compare and contrast.

Just doing a spot of DC quick charging at Swinburne Uni after my delivery run and saw this Leaf charging off the 15amp socket. Couldn’t locate owner but had to take a photo.

As I was done charging the owner of the other Leaf came out of a nearby building.

Owner’s name is Kirk and we had a friendly chat about future range extending options.

I dont own one yet (j-spec sourcing one at the moment), however could be keen on a meet in Melbourne to hear your experiences.

The upper carpark of Greensborough plaza has a charge point (not sure what type) and has access to restaurants nearby.
