I got a reply from Dean: "There is an IT issue with the system we are working on resolving. This should be resolved in the next 24-48 hours."

It still did not work, so I got pissed and figured it out.
What you need to do is to log in from the car. It seems like your account gets inactivated if you do not use it for a while from the car. As for me the carwings site thought that even my username was invalid, so it must have disabled me.
So, I downloaded some info from the car and now my login came good and I can log in.

OK this may be related to the issues you mentioned but...
I got a bunch of different numbers from the dealer: one of them seemed to work to get into the portal. I changed my password and all looked good but when I clicked on my vehicles and my nissan leaf settings it threw a strange red database worded error message and then nothing.
But the other thing is I tried to enter the security settings in the Leaf itself and tried a bunch of different combinations and finally one of them worked and seemed to connect. But the phone app won't seem to accept any combination. What do you put for the username password combo in the iphone app?

southernvolt, you need to use the car first as I described, do a download, eg. refresh charge stations. I think you must be getting the same error, we did.
Feng, I do not remember seeing anything on that page, ever. I get the same thing, maybe that is what Dean is getting fixed.

The car seemed to work with the number I got (wouldn't accept a @ in the username). It refreshed stuff but still I can't get the app to work. I tried using the number and the email address (the email address works to login to the website).

Maybe it is a broader issue as nothing I tried works - I see the same screen as above i.e. no current vehicle data to display. I can login in the car but can't get the iphone or windows app to connect so therefore can't remote control the car functions. Can't do it via the web either.

Well of course still not working for me. Question (while we wait): I was provided a screen capture from a Nissan system which had the user name and password details on it. There were two distinct items - one said Carwings and the other User portal login. The user one had a number starting with X and my email details. The other Carwings one started with N. The X one didn't work when login into the car so I used the N and it seemed to activate the security stuff in the car. But the owners portal seems to want to use either the email address or the portal. When I try to login to the iphone app it won't accept the N number - says username password error. But it accepts the X number only it says it can't login to the owners portal (different error). m I using the right bits in the right spots? Therefore meaning it's this broader issue or am I using the wrong logins?

When Japan fixes the issue, then you will have carwings again This has happened before and it took ages to be fixed that time too.

southernvolt, you have it right, the owners portal needs the x number (mine is a number and not an e-mail) and the carwings portal uses the N number.
I tried my android app (which uses the x number) and I can't log in either.

When Japan fixes the issue, then you will have carwings again This has happened before and it took ages to be fixed that time too. Bummer. I guess it was just bad luck on the timing that it was when I bought the new car.

I just logged in using the iPhone app and got an update of my car status. So I gather the website should work now. If you want the direct page for carwings (and use the N id), you can go to zeroemission.nissan-carwings.com

If I use the iPhone, all good. The owners portal doesn't list anything in the home and climate control screens, but everything else works

Lesmando, do you mean accessing the website through your iPhone or do you mean using the LEAF iPhone app? I can log into the website (though almost nothing works) but I can't log onto the iPhone app, I get the same message as southervolt.

Owned Leaf since Jan 14 Have been using Iphone App and Computer portal since then all these worked fine as well as in car updates 2 Weeks ago car info reverted to Feb 20th info, Iphone app wouldn't allow us to login and portal on computer allowed login but could not retrieve any information and no access to Carwings The only other thing that may or may not be relevant is car went in for it's 10K service around the same time these issues arose

I got in the car and tried to connect from there. At first it didn't want to connect, but not long after was connecting to CarWings info as well as updates to charging stations etc. I could get my world rankings and recent comparisons from my own driving. Again, this is all from the LEAF display, not on the computer. Still no joy logging into iPhone app.
