The local night food market put on a shine 'n show night for all the local car crowd. Displaying your car was free, so I thought it would be fun to show off something a bit different and sure enough I was the only EV there. Having both the bonnet and charging flap up certainly got a few double takes. Giving an opening to say hello and answer any questions about the Leaf. Lots of questions and people knowing that Electric Motors have great torque from 0 rpm was higher than I expected. Highlights included. - A lady who works for Nissan and when she spotted my car. Excitedly dragged her friend over to show her the Leaf and how it worked
- Lady who works at the local council and mentioned the Mayor is keen to get EV busses into the area
- A couple of young kids who ran up to take photos (probably did the same to every car )

Great work Caskings. Here's your old white LEAF in vinyl wrap being displayed at the 'Act on Climate' festival in Geelong last weekend. The blue LEAF in the background is mine.

You wouldn't guess from the photo what it has been through. Hope the cars got a good response at the festival.
