I have issue with LEAF link connecting to CARWINGS since Wednesday. Reported the error to the developer of LEAF link but no replies yet. The official LEAF mobile app is hopeless. I had "service not available" for almost everything in the app. Actually, I never have it fully functional since I received the car.

I don't understand why they don't fix the official app. It looks nice. They need to throw some money at it. I find it incredible that such a nice feature is disabled and Nissan is not interested in fixing it.

Given the quality of Nissan's software, I am not feeling comfortable with their autonomous driving software which they will release later this year in Japan.

Given the quality of Nissan's software, I am not feeling comfortable with their autonomous driving software which they will release later this year in Japan. I am actually really surprised that a big global company like Nissan that puts their name on an app would allow it to be broken for so long. Their reputation suffers and other people may worry about other software that the company is associated with. I am actually thrilled with the thought of an autonomous Leaf. It can't come soon enough for me.

I have to say the French(eu)nissan interface is never down. It only seems to be here. When my friends drive my French leaf it's interesting to get an email saying it's been charged etc on the other side of the world. Nissan oz needs to look at its server.

Just remember that even though the mobile apps don't work with CarWings, the website portal works fine, so you can still turn on the climate control on with your mobile by logging in to the owners portal on your mobile. Bit inconvenient, but it works.

We've had a few people say their Nissan Connect app doesn't work here, does it actually work for anyone for that matter?
My Carwings world rankings hasn't been updated since January 24th. Is this the case for everyone else? I don't always check it but I'd like to know everything works.

No updates since 18th Jan Carwings is working for me - it even has today's data showing, a 2.5 km drive. I've also got my highest ever eco-ranking of 18th with efficiency for February so far of 0.124 kWh/km and a regen rate of exactly 40% In fact when I updated my plot of efficiency over time, it is now really noticeable that the efficiency has been better since October, which coincides with when we had the firmware upgrade done at service. I now have sustained periods below 0.135 kWh/km whereas I never did prior. I also noticed I'm closing in on the milestone of 1000 eco-trees, currently sitting at 993. The Nissan EV app is another matter - it still won't update battery status for me, saying the "Service is not available". But it does show the most recent battery status requested from the web portal. Which is ironic, because when I logged into the web portal earlier, it said there was no battery data available, so I clicked on the "retrieve battery status" button, the request was sent, but the screen remained blank and it doesn't show the data, even when refreshed. But logging in to the app, I can see the battery status data that was requested from the web portal. That's all really obvious, isn't it.

Similar behaviour for me. CarWings is working fine from th Web interface with all my driving data to the current date, however the Nissan Ev app will log on and read data from CarWings but it cannot refresh the data, read current batter ststus, operate the climate control or do any trip planning. It actually would be a great app to use if it was working. I have emailed Dean with no reply. There is obviously no urgency to fix it which is a great shame. LeafLink no longer works either.

The Nissan Connect (EV) app and the LEAF Link app on my iPhone are both nonfunctional, and they have been for the past few weeks. Is this everyone's experience or am I unique?

Same here for months. I'm used to using the browser on my phone to control my car now.

Running Nissan Connect V2.0.2 Android. No problem except to refresh status, I have to start Route planner then refresh car status from there, then go back to main screen, refresh it again.

Same here, actually it doesn't work too bad. I go to the login page, hit "Autofill password" my login password go in, logon, hit "my vehicle" then Climate control, hit "set“. Works ok. I wish they would fix the official app. It is close to working. Just need that last 5%. I have emailed Dean twice, but no response. How about a few more on this forum email him about this issue. It might prompt some action, even if Dean forwards the emails to somebody.

The service Nissan give to their Leaf apps (old and new) are woeful in this country ... I've gone back to the browser option to use it. Its clunky and doesn't size for mobile use (which is where i use it most).
Hmmmm...

Actually it made me think that if they had some mobile sized pages in the web portal then they probably wouldn't need an app. I'm sure it's not a hard problem to fix it which means that noone is working on it. There aren't enough of us for Nissan to worry about it.

I just called Nissan Australia and Carwings server was ghetto hacked so they have disabled all mobile connections until further notice. I doubt it'll ever get back up and running given Nissans lazy attitude to software

I understood they were extending to 2017 due to the amount of devices still active.

Interesting. I'm glad we are still going to have telematics after they shutdown 2G. I don't mind paying a bit for the upgrade. It should finally mean that we will have a reliable app as well.

So who here will upgrade if we have the option? I probably will if it's not too expensive. Would be nice to update the satnav maps too if they finally release an update.

If we were sold carwings for 3 years then they should be paying for the upgrade... ? I'm only 11 months into my ownership

I really like being able to switch the climate control on on a hot day. Nissan are paying for some of the upgrade so it shouldn't be too expensive. I will definitely pay.

I would pay the upgrade if they restore the mobile app to be functional.

I Would pay for the upgrade - while the app use is convenient I'm still using the web portal to start the aircon to cool the car ... its a lifesaver ...!!
