I still cannot log in to this "updated " app. I am using my Nissan Owners Portal credentials "X227....." and password. I can log in on my PC, but not in the app, it returns the error message "User ID / Password invalid". I've also tried every combination of Carwings ID and password with Nissan Owners Portal ID and password.
Clicking on "Forgot Password" in the app simply sends me to the Nissan Owners web Portal where, of course, I can login so that doesn't help. I even changed my password just for the heck of it to see if that made any difference. Nope.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Which app are you talking about? Nissan Connect and Nissan EV (Nissan LEAF) are different apps on iOS.
Nissan Connect does not support LEAFs and you need Nissan EV.
On Nissan EV, I could login with LEAF user portal user ID and password on 3rd November but now I get 'User ID / Password invalid'.
I would suggest you to contact Dean from Nissan or simply install LEAF Link. It works perfect for me.

I'll email Dean!

After being impressed with the Ev connect when it was first updated, I'm disappointed (yet maybe not surprised given how long the previous app was defunct for).
I must admit I've gone back to leaf link, always reliable ...

No reply to my email from Dean. Hopefully if others have emailed him, he will have alerted Nissan IT or Nissan HQ and they'll fix it in version 2.0.2 (without breaking something else).

I am currently sitting at a Nissan dealer waiting for my TCU to be activated. Can anyone tell me if NISSAN EV app for IOS is working? Or should I just use LEAF LINK?

Seems like most people, including myself, have a more reliable experience with leaf link. And at the moment I can't see any compelling reason to use the offical Nissan app with the bugs associated. Shame really.

I mailed Dean about being unable to log in with the app (both IOS and Android). He suggested I uninstall and reinstall which made no difference. Can I get a show of hands who is still having problems with the official Nissan Connect app so I can go back to him and tell him how many of us on the forum are affected? It's getting a bit annoying being unable to use it, especially since the weather is warming up and remotely starting the A/C is nice to have.

I called a few weeks ago. He told me the issue would be sorted 24-48hrs. This was a Friday afternoon. I'm still waiting for it to work.
Thank goodness for LEAF Link.

Putting my programmers hat on for a moment. The Nissan EV app seems to come up with that error message very quickly. I wonder if it is just a simple "time out" issue. Maybe the app is just not waiting long enough to validate the credentials. Has anyone had a successful log in using this app? If so, then that would tend to give some credence to my theory.

I can now log on and get details about my last drive but App is unable to communicate with the car. I still think it is timeout issues. The error messages pop up too quickly. However we are making progress. Stick to Leaf Link for now.

I can now login on the app too, but it only shows the battery status from the most recent update via the online portal. If I request an update of the battery status I get the message "The service cannot be provided. Please try again or contact NISSAN". The first time I tried to update the battery status, it took about 20 seconds for this message to appear, but every subsquent time, it appears pretty quickly. However the Carwings stats in the App can be fetched and are up to date. So it's just the battery status bit that is still broken.

I also note that after using Ev Connect you can't log into Leaf Link until you log in using the Web portal.

I just tried LEAF link on my iPhone which didn't work so I logged on using the web portal on my PC (http://owners.nissan.com.au/portal/) which usually did the trick and so I then tried the NISSAN EV app and (the various Gods be praised) it worked (all features). Now I see it working it is quite good so I hope it continues working as I think it is a bit better then LEAF link from both a design and features point of view.

I can't get Leaf Link to work at the moment. Car wings seems to be working only on the computer. Anyone else? I have the Nissan EV Connect app and Leaf Manager and they have both failed to connect for over a month. I've given up on them as it appears Nissan Australia has in maintaining the service. We shouldn't have to contact them to tell them it's not working, they should be monitoring the service and fixing it proactively!

It is a global service, Nissan Australia look after the connectivity from the cars to the network. They will pass your message on, not sure what global will reply with. I think there is currently a stop sale in Europe for new LEAF while the issues are being sorted.
